Google New York Has a Sweet Time in Central Park

This past Saturday, the Google New York community team stopped by Cupcakes Take The Cake’s Cupcake Picnic in Central Park to talk about our favorite New York bakeries and review them on Places with fellow cupcake lovers.

If you’ve never been to a cupcake picnic before, we highly recommend it! We’ve never seen such an amazing variety of both homemade and store-bought cupcakes, each with its own unique theme, design and flavor.

For our part, we brought special NYC Emoji cupcakes, which were made especially for us (that’s me, Esther, and Margarita in the photo below) by the talented folks over at Crumbs Bake Shop:

 

We also brought Google Places schwag, which we gave to New Yorkers after they’d mastered the art of reviewing places on-the-go via the Google Places app for Android and iPhone.

 

Last but not least, we were thrilled to meet Marion, a true cupcake aficionado whose insightful reviews of NYC cupcake shops earned her not only some sweet Google Places gear and some serious street cred, but also free cupcakes from Crumbs. Here she is pictured on the left with Nichelle, one of the founding editors of Cupcakes Take The Cake:
