Doggie Day Out with Google Places in Austin, Texas

Just as Austin moves into the dog days of summer, many a pooch and their owner joined us this weekend at Norwood Estate Dog Park for Doggie Day Out. While the two-legged folks chatted about sharing their favorite pet stores, parks, and veterinarians on Google Places, the four-legged pups got to show off the latest in Fido-fashion with brand new Google Places dog bandannas:

More than 100 dogs and their owners came by to romp around for a couple hours, then headed off to all the many other great Austin events going on this weekend, such as the Reggae Festival at Auditorium Shores, the Lone Star Jam at Waterloo Park, and the Old Settler’s Music Festival at the Salt Lick in Driftwood. Just another great weekend in the live music capital of the world!
