Info Post
Editor’s Note: Now and then we'll spotlight one of our amazing Google Places reviewers. Both so you guys can start to get to know one another and so we can pull together and share our favorite local places. This week we introduce you to Chris Stone of Portland, Oregon.

To find out more about our community activities in Portland, visit us at google.com/portland or follow us on Twitter at @GooglePDX.

Some background: Chris is an Oregon native who moved to Portland after a stint in Arizona. Sorry, Yuma, Portland wins Chris’s heart for being the “epitome of livability.” He likes to bike and hike around Portland’s many trails and has found that “there is always something new to see or discover.” Chris is a Google Places champion, having authored 342 reviews. You may run into him in SE or at our next Google Places event.

What's your favorite thing about sharing reviews on Places?

Places helps me find new spots to try out. The more I review, the better the recommendations are.

Share with us an ultimate insider tip for your city.

There is always something interesting and cheap to do in Portland. If you are on a budget, search a bit online and you will find something fun or cheap to do.

If you could see any celebrity's reviews on Places, who would you choose and why?

Cher. I feel like we would have similar tastes and her reviews would be pithy and to the point.

If you were going to draw a Google Doodle, what would it look like?

I would make a Portland doodle. It would include the river and bridges which would lift when you moused over. How cool would that be?

Tell us about some of your Best Evers.

Kenny & Zuke's Delicatessen: One of the few true "delis" left in town, Kenny & Zuke's is great all around. It is a Portland staple, with a true understanding of what makes a great deli. Do yourself a favor and get the Pastrami, it is crafted in-house and tastes amazing. Their bagels are also not half bad.

Produce Row Cafe: How cool! I love this area of town and Produce Row is one of the reasons. Great patio with movies on Wednesdays and music during the weekend. If you are down by the water on the East side, go to Produce Row. It is even open late. Oh, and get the fries, they're the best.

Fuller's Restaurant: Yummy greasy spoon! Before Clyde Common and others decided to put tables together and call it communal dining, there was Fuller's. The food is always great, and the coffee is wonderful. If you want a great bottomless cup of coffee, Fuller's is the place to go.
