Austinites Name ‘Clueless’ the Best Ever Chick Flick of All Time, Talk Favorite Movie Theaters

This past weekend, the Google Places team stopped by The Highball in Austin, Texas, for The Best of Everything performance series. The topic this month was “Best Ever Chick Flicks,” and four local performers took to the stage to crown a winner.

In the end, Austin comedienne Shana Merlin of the Merlin Works Institute of Improv Training took home the tissue-box trophy for her impassioned defense of Clueless. Asked if she thought any other chick flicks could compete, she replied in character, simply stating, “As if!”

Between the clips and skits, theatergoers learned how to choose their own local business Best Evers using Google Places. So tell us: What’s your favorite chick flick, and what’s your favorite movie theater for watching it?
