For every review PSU members left on Google Places, we agreed to donate $1 to the Viking Athletics program and to the Multicultural Center, up to $2,000. And guess what? You guys reached that goal in no time! Plus, to reward all that hard reviewing work, we gave away special Google-colored water bottles on the spot.

Throughout the day, lots of new users created Google accounts to share their opinions about the local spots they know and love. Members of the Vikings football team came to our booth to rate and review their Portland favorites, including Cheerful Tortoise and Paccini Restaurant & Bar:
