Google Places app for iPhone adds filters, open hours

We’ve added some nifty new features to the Google Places app for iPhone. Here’s a rundown:

• Filter search results by distance, rating and price. This has been one of your top feature requests — enjoy!   
• See if a particular place is open or when it’s going to be
• Read full reviews by Google users and load additional reviews

Filter places and see open hours

I need a coffee pick-me-up in the mornings, so I pull up a search for “coffee” and filter by distance. I look for places within two miles of me — I’m in need of that latté stat — and I can see what places are already open:

Reviews on Google help me decide where to go. Now when I’m searching for a spot to eat, I can read every last detail about which entrée to order:
