Info Post
It was a rainy Thursday with an unseasonable chill in the air, but that didn't stop hundreds of people from coming to Brooklyn to enjoy A Taste of Fifth Avenue, a local festival created to celebrate the numerous merchants along this thriving street.

Sign outside Aunt Suzie's, one of the participating restaurants.
We partnered with the Park Slope 5th Avenue Business Improvement District and All About Fifth to showcase local businesses and give people a chance enjoy some food and beverage samples from a variety of Fifth Avenue bars and restaurants.

Esther Brown, Manhattan community manager, and me, Margarita, greeting locals and handing out tickets.

We set up tables where folks stopped by to chat about Google Places, write reviews of some of their favorite spots, and get a ticket redeemable for a food or drink special at one of dozens of participating bars and restaurants.

Despite the inclement weather, more than 200 people waited patiently to talk to us and get their ticket, redeemable for such treats as nachos, ice cream, falafel, sushi, ribs, smoothies and pizza.

Folks enjoy Japanese fare at Kiku.
Thanks to everyone who came out and made A Taste of Fifth Avenue a delicious success!
