Like many San Diegans, you’re a transplant from another city. How did you end up here?
After deciding to take some time off from college in D.C., my sister called me from San Diego and asked me if I’d like to come live with her and help take care of her daughter while she's at work. Of course I said yes! I was only going to take a year off school on the East Coast, but I ended up getting stuck here in sunny San Diego. Who wouldn't with everything there is to do out here!
You’ve been out to a few of our Google events, what are your favs?
My favorites are all the Taco Tuesdays and Fro-Yo Thursdays that Megan hosts, because she always picks the best places to eat, and I meet other cool new people there!
Those events have helped you write more than 100 reviews! What do you like about using Google Places?
I enjoy letting people know about the places where I love to eat or hang out at, or letting people know when a certain place hasn't met my expectations.
Aside from writing reviews, what are some other activities you like to do in San Diego?
I like to go for a bike ride or go swimming. I also like rock climbing and going for hikes.
Tell us about some of your San Diego Best Evers?
Sushi Deli: My favorite place by far to get sushi in San Diego. The prices for their rolls are cheap, and the quality is amazing! Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes to get in here though.
El Camino Super Cocina Mexicana: I would go to this restaurant every week for Taco Tuesday. They have locally grown and organic ingredients, and hormone-free meats. The servers are good at remembering me and what I like to eat. The atmosphere is very fun, decorated with Day of the Dead art.
Belmont Park: They have really fun rides here of all sorts. Carnival games and fair food, which is not too expensive. They have blacklight mini golf, laser maze, mirror maze and a sky ropes course here too, which are all really fun.
