Info Post
There are plenty of good taco joints in this grand City of ours — that is, if you know where to look. So we here on the Google Places team chose to celebrate Taco Tuesday at The Brooklyneer, a Brooklyn-themed bar in downtown Manhattan that, as it turns out, has some pretty awesome tacos.

Now, you may be wondering: “What’s a Brooklyn-themed bar?” And we’re glad you asked, because The Brooklyneer is a special place. With locally sourced food and drink, The Brooklyneer draws attention to the emerging food and drink artisans who call Brooklyn home.

Even the decor of the space draws its inspiration from Brooklyn — the 30-foot long bar top, for instance, was once part of the old Coney Island boardwalk!

The tacos were delicious: chicken and roasted pork with salsa verde. Yum! And the photobooth was a hit, too!

As always, we came armed with Google Places swag. Check out these rockin’ Places pin tattoos:

All in all, Taco Tuesday was a great success. We can’t wait to celebrate it again soon! And we hope you’ll join us, of course. To find out where the Places crew will be next, follow us on Twitter at @GoogleNYC and on Facebook.
