Info Post
Editor’s Note: Now and then we'll spotlight one of our amazing Google Places reviewers. Both so you guys can start to get to know one another and so we can pull together and share our favorite local places. This week we introduce you to Paul Lewis of Portland, Oregon.

To find out more about our community activities in Portland, visit us at google.com/portland or follow us on Twitter at @GooglePDX.

Some background: Paul, also known as PabloVex, moved to Portland after visiting in 2001, and has since been here for five years. And, for the past five months, he’s been teaching business owners all the ways they can connect with customers via Google as part of our ongoing effort to engage with and support local businesses.

As a self-proclaimed geek, he stays in the loop by following several technology blogs, loves going to McMenamins theaters when they put on their free Sci-Fi series, and enjoys BSG and Firefly with other geeks. You may run into him in the Hawthorne district sipping on some coffee — keep your eyes peeled for the silver mug with a sticker that says “Paul is cute.”

What's your favorite thing about sharing reviews on Places?

I hope that other people will read my reviews and bring business to my favorite spots. PDX is great because of all the small business owners and its community atmosphere.

Share an ultimate insider tip for your city.

Get a thermal travel coffee mug and keep it with you. Waste less paper and coffee.

Tell us about some of your Best Evers.

Dots Cafe: Their chicken sandwiches have addictive qualities. Drinks are strong. The quesadillas could be a meal for two. But remember it's CASH ONLY. ATM in the back.

Ground Kontrol: What can I say? They have Star Trek: The Next Generation Pinball and Dr. Mario!

Le Bistro Montage: Spicy mac and cheese, mmm. Affordable and unpretentious, but still a good place to bring a date. Communal dining, so you can get to know your fellow diners.
