Info Post
Editor’s Note: Now and then we'll spotlight one of our amazing Google Places reviewers. Both so you guys can start to get to know one another and so we can pull together and share our favorite local places. This week we introduce you to Josh Gann of Portland, Oregon.

To find out more about our community activities in Portland, visit us at google.com/portland or follow us on Twitter at @GooglePDX.

Some background: Josh Gann moved to Portland a year ago after visiting one summer on his honeymoon. He survives the winter by going snowboarding as often as possible, and when the snow is melted, Josh likes to ride his bike and hike. You may run into him in Downtown Portland walking with Pretzels, his terrier who always tries to boss around dogs three times her size.

What's your favorite thing about sharing reviews on Places?
It's great being able to quickly pull up starred places on my phone when I'm out and looking for a restaurant.

What's your ultimate guilty pleasure?
Going out to exercise on my bicycle and ending up at a donut shop. This happens way too often.

Out of the Google Portland events you've been to, which one's your favorite and why?
The brewery tour with Brewvana! Free drinks, free food, and a bus load of happy people. I had way more fun than I was expecting.

Talk about some of your Best Evers.

Ground Kontrol: Arcade + bar + super friendly service! They have woodchuck cider on tap!! Love this place!

Escape From New York Pizza: Simply the best New York–style pizza I've ever had.

Tea Chai Te: My favorite tea shop in Portland. I almost always get the coconut oolong tea. The atmosphere is great here — cozy inside and a balcony for the warm days.

Rimsky-Korsakoffee House: Really good desserts here! The staff is very friendly, and sometimes quite funny. This is one of those places I make sure to take out-of-towners to.
